Karin Eaton, former executive director of the Ontario Sign Association, has been named executive director of the Sign Association of Canada/Association Canadienne De L’Enseigne. Eaton joins SAC-ACE as part of a newly announced partnership between SAC-ACE and the International Sign Association in which ISA will oversee management of the association and Sign Expo Canada. Before leading the Ontario Sign Association, Karin was the director of government relations for SAC-ACE; she will use her expertise in this area to increase the relevance of SAC-ACE to the sign, graphics and visual communications industry in Canada.

Ricoh has released the Pro T7210, its first wide-format UV flatbed, The Ricoh Pro T7210 can run 100spm/hr in its high-speed mode.
It has been priced at circa-£200,000 for full configuration, which includes ColorGate RIP, delivery, installation, training and a one-year warranty.This printer has been introduced to address the UV print market, in addition to your traditional POS/board printing.

The BravoBanner system dual heads apply tabs and tape simultaneously along the top and bottom edge of the banner and are easily adjustable to accommodate variable widths. With hem taping speeds of up to 80 feet per minute, the BravoBanner system can finish up to 150 banners per hour with 1-2 operators. The machine also punches rope holes.
